Upon arrival at the Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs, I was delighted to find that the 24-hour access to the hot springs, pool, and spa was a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. the breakfast options offered were diverse and satisfying, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Being a coastal and beachfront hotel enthusiast, I was impressed by the outdoor restaurant's ambiance and cuisine, adding a touch of relaxation to my dining experience. The hotel's prime location allowed easy access to nearby attractions such as Box Canyon and the Perimeter Trail, providing ample opportunities for outdoor adventures. the availability of jeep and ATV rentals made it convenient to explore the local trails and further immerse myself in the beauty of the surroundings. However, I did notice that the staff, although friendly, seemed overwhelmed at times, indicating a need for additional support to cater to all guest needs efficiently. From a malfunctioning TV to an unsecured bathroom window and non-functional amenities, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the room left much to be desired. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of the customer service desk, the lack of timely resolution and follow-up left a sour note in an otherwise promising stay. Overall, while the hotel's hot springs and pool facilities stood out as a highlight of my visit, the shortcomings in room upkeep and customer service overshadowed the positive aspects of the stay. As someone deeply invested in marine conservation and environmental sustainability, I believe that attention to detail and maintenance are crucial in providing a truly enriching and memorable guest experience.
